They are the shortest lithium-ion cordless drill/drivers and cordless screwdrivers in the 10.8 Volt class on the market: the cordless drill/driver Bosch GSR 10,8-2-LI Professional with a length of 169 millimeters and the cordless screwdriver Bosch GSR 10,8-LI Professional with only 143 millimeters. They are ideal for working in tight spaces and overhead thanks
to their small size.

But the impressive performance of these two tools when driving screws and drilling holes is due not only to their compactness, but also their power. The powerful 2-speed gearbox ensures optimum power transfer at a maximum torque of 30 newton meters. This enables effortless driving of screws of up to seven millimeters. The Bosch GSR 10,8-2-LI Professional and the Bosch GSR 10,8-LI Professional are especially used for driving small screws (3.5 x 3.5 mm and 4 x 40 mm) in chipboard, softwood, hardwood, plastic and in hard-to-reach areas.

Comfortable working

Both tools are equipped with a motor brake that immediately stops the screwdriver when the screwdriving process is finished. This allows for precise working, especially when driving rows of screws. An integrated LED light provides optimum illumination of the work area, even in dark places. Page 2 The cordless drill/driver Bosch GSR 10,8-2-LI Professional has a 10 mm Auto-Lock chuck which allows for easy changing of straight-shank drill bits. This means that holes up to 19 millimeters can be drilled effortlessly in various materials. A practical charge level indicator with three LEDs on the Premium lithium-ion battery of the tool shows the user how much charge energy is left in the battery. Unlike the cordless drill/driver Bosch GSR 10,8-2-LI Professional, the cordless screwdriver Bosch GSR 10,8-LI Professional is equipped with a universal bit holder which accepts all conventional drill and screwdriver bits with a 1/4" hex shank without any problems.

Premium lithium-ion battery with long lifetime

The long lifetime of the Bosch Premium batteries is thanks to the Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) from Bosch. It reliably protects the battery against overload, overheating and total discharge. There is also no memory effect and the batteries are fully ready for use, even if they have not been used for months. Bosch supplies the cordless drill/drivers with a 45-minute charger as standard. Thanks to the “Hyper-Charge” technology from Bosch, the batteries are charged to 75 percent after only half of the charge time.

“L-BOXX”: The superior transport and storage system

The Bosch GSR 10,8-2-LI Professional and the Bosch GSR 10,8-LI Professional are available in the “L-BOXX”, which is a new packaging concept. Multiple power tools can be transported very easily thanks to the easy system of clicking together and separating the different L-BOXXes. This makes the L-BOXX more convenient than all conventional carrying cases. It can be freely configured to enable tidy storage of the power tools, accessories and consumables. The L-BOXX is an ideal, long-term storage and transport partner that the professional tradesman can rely on too, because its robust design even withstands loads of up to 100 kg.
